Dr. Mireles-Chavez is board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is also Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has practiced pediatrics in the Fresno, California area for more than 15 years. She is a graduate of UCSF-Fresno Pediatric residency program. She graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. Her interest in a more holistic approach to medicine of all ages grew from attending age management conferences with her husband, Dr. Juan Chavez.
She was trained in integrative and restorative medicine from SaJune Institute for Restorative and Regenerative Medicine and specializes in women and adolescents. Additional training includes:
